RÜTSCHI: The "Pioneer" of the Canned Motor Pump
for Building, Chemical and Nuclear Applications

1946
- Rütschi invented the "Perfecta":
The canned motor pump for Building.
- Rütschi focused the activity on the Swiss market
and decided to cover world market through
License Agreements.
- In the following years, Rütschi signed 20 license
agreements for different countries with the major pump manufacturers for heating systems.

1967
- Rütschi developed the "Chemieperfecta"
The canned motor pump for Chemical Industries.
- Rütschi, a precursor for environment improvement,
became a recognized benchmark for the highest duties.
- Rütschi gained experiences with all chemicals
for different services.
- The result of this is a long list of references:
Roche, Novartis, Arkema, Lonza, Syngenta, Huntsman, Enichem, OMV, Aramco, Lurgi, Technip, Uhde.

1970
- Rütschi introduced canned motor pump in
Nuclear Applications.
- Rütschi set-up a new company in France
to be very close to the most advanced development centres in Europe (FRAMATOME-AREVA).
- Thanks to ASME certification, Rütschi introduced
the pumps in the WESTINGHOUSE technology.
- Working with these two partners,
Rütschi became familiar in the nuclear community:
research centres, uranium chemistry, nuclear reactors, fuel-reprocessing and waste storage.
